Silent Glide Canoe and Kayak Rental Services

Silent Glide's flexible rental policy and a variety of rental canoes and kayaks should meet most paddler's needs. Personal Floatation Devices are included with your rentals and a rental contract (described below) will need to be filled out.

Rental Rates:

Royalex Canoes: First day is $30, second day in a row is $25 and each consecutive day after is $20.

Kevlar Canoes: First Day is $35, second day in a row is $30 and each consecutive day after is $25

Kayaks: Plastic Current Designs Kayaks are $35 first day, $25 second day and $20 each consecutive day after.

Sit on top, Plastic kayaks: $20 per day or $12 per half day

Composite Kayaks: $40 per day.

• 1/2 day is 5 hours or less and is half price (this option may not always be available)
• Full Day is up to 14 hours or 24 hours if it is a multi day rental
• Hourly rate is $6/hour for canoes $8/hour for plastic Kayaks and $12/hour for composite Kayaks.

All rental packages include paddles and PFDs

Some allowance can be made if there will be multiple days in travel, such as driving to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.

• A rental contract and liability waver statement will be necessary.
• Any damage assessments will be by the sole judgment of the owner.
• Only adults 18 years or older can rent canoes and Kayaks.
• Car and truck carrying systems can be rented for $5 per day and may be required if necessary to reduce damage or danger to others.
