| This American made classic is great for more open travel. With the Neoprene/Kevlar lacing it is nearly as light as a comparable aluminum shoe. It is a quiet, high flotation and easy striding shoe and the wood frame puts enough spring in your step to reduce any jarring. The tail makes for great tracking. I carry several kinds of bindings including the Faber in leather at $45 or TPR at $35, the highly improved Supper AA at $45 and Snow Walker with it's crampon included at $69. If you want to float high and hear the subtle sounds around you the traditional snowshoe can't be beat. |
